#Tarot Reading: Health Concerns & Employment

Dear D*******

Thank you for allowing me to conduct this reading for you.

Your question that you wanted me to answer was: you are interested in working on a psychiatric ward, but are concerned that your current health issues may prevent this.

For this, I did a 3 card reading as set out below:

Why this line of work interests you: The Moon

What your concerns are that your health may impede this: The Chariot

Why you feel unable to make this clear decision: 3 of Pentacles

The word Lunatic was once a term for someone that is mentally ill, this was attributed to lunacy, or moon madness. The Moon, in this instance tells me that this is both a subject that both troubles you and at the same time interests you. It is also a subject where you are able to trust your instincts.

The Chariot is a card or mental or physical journey. You seem to be concerned (clearly) that your health may take the reigns over where your journey takes you, as you fight for control over your health.

The 3 of Pentacles is a card of teamwork, teaching and learning. You feel unable to decide as you worry about the support that you will get. This is a big step in learning a new job, but that is to be expected.

Conclusion

The fact that 2 of the 3 cards are major arcana suggests that there are big issues at work here. This is clearly a job career path that interests you, but with your current health not at it’s best, there is a concern that this may not be the right move. You need to ensure that you are getting professional help with your current health to keep it at its optimum level. It may also be of benefit to see if there are any options to speak with someone who currently works in a psychiatric department to get an idea of what demands there would be on you and also, what support they may be able to offer (teamwork). If you can address these points, it will give you the best opportunity in taking this forward.

I hope this helps!

Best wishes

Martin
