#Tarot Reading for Week Commencing: 25 April 2016

DSC_0011

The early part of the week sees the King of Wands; indicating that this is a time that requires confidence.  Is there a project that you are involved in?  If so, have faith in your knowledge and ability as a leader, but remember to lead by example.

The middle part of the week sees the King of Swords.  Much like the King of Wands, he is a leader, but although he is a sharp thinker with a logical approach, he does not iet emotions cloud his judgement.  If there are decisions to be made, be careful when making these; consider the feelings of others and yourself, but also check if these are actually relevant to the situation.  Are you making decisions with your head or your heart?  And which is the most appropriate?

The end of the week is ruled by The Empresss; she is a mother figure, someone of a nurturing nature.  Now is the time to think of yourself and family and to ensure you give them the time they deserve.  The working week is over (providing you work Monday to Friday), so enjoy the well-earned break.  This is also a reminder to remember the progress that you have made, no matter how daunting the task.

#Tarot Reading for Week Commencing: 18 April 2016

DSC_0017.JPG

The early part of the week sees The Tower.  This signifies the abrupt ending of something, a bolt from the blue or a fall from grace.  Although seen as a negative and destructive card, this really tells us that some kind of change is being forced upon us that we have no control over.  Although the change may not be welcome,  whatever happens, there’s no point trying to fight against it as this would be a waste of time and energy, it’s time to move forwards.

The middle of the week sees the Ace of Wands.  This tells of new beginnings, with lots of energy and excitement over starting a new project (which ties in nicely with the previous card), so let your creativity and originality shine through.

The end of the week is ruled by the King of Cups, which reminds us that we must not let our emotions get the better of us.  Remember to apply wisdom as well as compassion when making choices, as the correct balance is necessary to achieve the desired outcome.

#Tarot Reading: Making a Choice in a Relationship

Dear M*******

Thank you for allowing me to conduct this reading for you.

Your question that you wanted me to answer was: you have been in a relationship for a while, but lately he has seemed distant. You have also recently found someone else that you may have feelings for.

As I have not been given consent by the others involved in this reading, I think it is only fair to look at what you are feeling towards these men as well as looking at what it is you want from them.

For this, I did a 3 card reading as set out below:

What you feel towards your current partner: The Devil

What you feel towards this new person: 6 of Pentacles

What it is that you want from them: 9 of Cups

The Devil speaks of addiction and doing things for the wrong reasons. Could it be that you are staying with this man as it is easier than moving on and possibly running into the same problems with someone else? There is also the possibility that this relationship may seem fine in his eyes and this may be something that you have to accept, as you may be expectation more than is on offer.

The 6 of Pentacles tells you that there is something new on offer and you are perhaps eager to receive it. Perhaps you have been looking for something new for som,e time and now here it is. Be careful what you accept as often things can be attached.

The 9 of Cups tells you that you are looking for satisfaction and you desire the simple things in life, like that special person to share it with.

Conclusion

It looks as though you may be discontent and have been looking for that initial spark that finds us at the start of a new relationship. There is an exciting new prospect, but do you really want to give up on your current relationship, or is it better to stay with the `devil you know’? You need to decide if you current relationship will suit your needs; perhaps speak to him and tell him what you feel and see where this takes you. Also, the new person may seem fine now, but is this someone that you think you would be happy to stay with? It seems you are seeking a soulmate, so you should consider if either of these men will really fit what you are looking for, as I think that is the key to finding what you truly want.

I hope this helps!

Best wishes

Martin

#Tarot Card Reading for Week Commencing: 11 April 2016

img_1460315043951

The early part of the week is ruled by the 2 of Swords.  Is there a decision to be made that you don’t feel comfortable making, or perhaps you do not have all the facts, or you are choosing to ignore the situation.

The middle part of the week sees The Devil.  This warns of manipulation, excesses, temptation and desire; so it’s time to tread carefully and consider your actions and those around you.

Fortunately, the end of the week sees the King of Swords.  This brings about some stability and security; perhaps you may see someone that comes into your life that is happy, charismatic, a successful leader and is able to foster the kind of environment you desire.

#Tarot Reading: Relationship Advice

Dear T*******

Thank you for allowing me to conduct this reading for you.

Your question that you wanted me to answer was: will the relationship you are pursuing at work ever work.

I cannot predict the future, but instead I can look at how you feel towards this person and what you might do to get the relationship started

For this, I did a 3 card reading as set out below:

What you feel about the other person: Knight of Swords

  • You feel like their knight in shining armour, but the Knight of Swords is known to rush in first and think later; letting their head rule their heart.

Why the relationship hasn’t yet begun: 9 of Wands

  • The 9 of Wands suggests that you are worried about the future, or possibly, more specially, rejection. It can also indicate a previous bad experience, which is still on your mind now.

What you can do to form a relationship: 10 of Cups

  • The 10 of cups suggests that you need to make the other person feel safe and secure in your presence. Also, you should ensure that you accept the other person is not perfect and you are able to appreciate them regardless of what your perceive as their flaws.

Conclusion

It seems that although you are keen to start the relationship, for some reason, something (or things) from your past is making you hesitate. Take a look at what this may be, as this seems to be the blockage that’s not only stopping you moving forward, the other person could well be picking up on this. For the immediate future, work on being the supportive friend, don’t pressure, just enjoy some fun times together, do something you both enjoy and get to know each other better.

Good luck!

Best wishes
Martin

#Tarot Card Reading for Week Commencing: 4 April 2016

DSC_0012
The beginning of the week is ruled by the 6 of Cups.  Something about our past is on our mind; a feeling of nostalgia perhaps, which is putting us in a playful mood.

The middle of the week sees the 2 of Pentacles, which suggests that there may be juggling of priorities or even finanances, so be sure to give tasks or people the time that it deserves.  Remember that panicking is not going to solve anything, but remamining calm is the best approach.

Towards the end of the week, we see the Heirophant.  Is there a particular tradition or set of events that you need to follow?  Or perhaps a mentor or an advisor is needed?  Look for help in the right place as it is there to help you in times of need.
